Is this workshop right for you?
Take a look at our questionnaire and perform your own self assessment

Who should attend?
Within financial services companies the regulators demand that individuals are competent to perform their role. This is achieved through appropriate training and coaching and supported by appropriate supervision from competent supervisors. There are some supervisory roles that require skills in coaching and assessment to be demonstrated.
Over time some supervisors skills become less effective – this can be for a number of reasons but the outcome is that supervision suffers and employees being supervised miss out and possible risks to the business through poor practice develop.

This workshop is designed to refresh supervisory skills, to re-energise supervisors and motivate them to perform to their full potential. It is an ideal way to boost your firms’ supervisory capabilities.
Primarily aimed at supervisors who have been in role for more than 18 months this workshop will make a difference to the way a supervisor performs

What are the outcomes of attending?
To know the key skills needed by a supervisor to be effective in their role and create a personal gap analysis
To shape supervisory interventions to best motivate an individual
To build a portfolio of evidence using appropriate competence management techniques
To shape key performance indicators to provide a broad overview of performance and to use a fishbone analysis to identify the possible root cause of a problem.
To identify the preferred learning style of an individual and structure development plans using appropriate solutions to match known preferences
To conduct a feedback session to desired standards and construct development action plans that satisfy SMART criteria within a structured supervisory approach
To evaluate the success of supervisory interventions to help ensure sustainable improvements in an individuals’ performance
